Honey Whole Wheat Bread

- COMBINE IN MIXER BOWL shopping list
- 3 cups whole wheat flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup NONFAT dry milk shopping list
- 1 tablespoon salt shopping list
- 2 packages dry yeast shopping list
- HEAT IN SAUCEPAN UNTIL WARM shopping list
- 3 cups water OR potato water shopping list
- 1/2 cup honey shopping list
- 2 tablespoons oil shopping list
- POUR WARM (not hot) LIQUID OVER flour MIXTURE shopping list
- Beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes shopping list
- STIR IN shopping list
- 1 additional cup of whole wheat flour shopping list
- 4-4-1/2 unbleaced white flour shopping list
- KNEAD 5 minutes, using additional white flour if necessary shopping list
- PLACE IN GREASED BOWL TURN OVER, LET RISE UNTIL DOUBLED IN BULK shopping list
- PUNCH DOWN AFTER DOUBLED shopping list
- DIVIDE DOUGH IN HALF shopping list
- SHAPE INTO LOAF shopping list
- PLACE INTO GREASED 9 X 5 bread pans shopping list
- COVER AND LET RISE 40-45 minutes shopping list
- BAKE AT 375 degrees for about 40 minutes shopping list
How to make it
- TO KNEAD (My way :)
- Turn dough onto floured board
- PUSH and PULL and FLIP sides over and PUSH with palms of hands, working just a little flour into the dough each time
- Dough will begin to feel less sticky
- Pick up the dough, and slap it a couple of times, and knead a little more, adding only a LITTLE flour each time
- Soon, the dough will begin to look "stretchy" and a little silky and smooth
- GREAT FOR YOUR MUSCLES. GREAT EXERCISE. AND A REAL
