How to make it

  • Pre-heat the oven as directed on the cake mix.
  • Mix cake as directed on box.
  • Fold in the icing into the cake mix. Pour batter into a rectangular greased pan,
  • Bake as directed on the box.
  • Cake will be very moist. After the cake cools, sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar as a topping. Cut into serving sizes.
  • It doesn't take much expertise, but you won't have any leftovers.
  • I used Spice cake with creamed cheese frosting, and Carrot cake the same way. But the kids prefer the chocolate cake with the fudge chocolate icing.
  • Lord, what would I do without spell check.

    Wow, what a great cake. I just devoured a second piece. It was so easy to make and was very moist. I used banana cake mix with cream cheese frosting, and served it with vanilla ice cream. Yum. I know I'll be making this cake again and again. Can't wait to try the chocolate. Thanks.
