Appetizer Meatballs

- 2 pounds ground beef shopping list
- 1 pound hot pork sausage shopping list
- 1 5oz can evaporated milk shopping list
- 2 cups old fashion oats. shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chili powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 2 teaspoon salt-or to taste shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onions shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- 2 cups ketchup shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar-or to taste shopping list
- 1 teaspoon liquid smoke shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 chopped onions shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl,mix all meatball ingredients together.
- Shape into 1 1/2" - 2" balls.
- Place side by side in a 9" x 13" lightly greased baking dish. If all of the meatballs will not fit,use an additional baking dish.
- Combine sauce ingredients and pour over meatballs. Sauce recipe can be doubled.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until meatballs are no longer pink in the middle.
- Serve over rice,garlic mashed potatoes,egg noodles,or as appeitizers.
- Suggestion: Add some red pepper flakes or cayenne pepper to the sauce for an extra kick.
