Ingredients
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened
  • 1-1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 4 cups POST GOLDEN CRISP Cereal, divided
  • 8 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate

Directions
  1. PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
  2. Beat butter and sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  3. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  4. Add flour and baking soda; mix well.
  5. Stir in 3 cups of the cereal.
  6. DROP heaping teaspoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.
  7. BAKE 8 to 10 min. or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from baking sheets to wire racks; cool completely.
  9. Dip cooled cookies halfway into melted chocolate; immediately sprinkle with remaining 1 cup cereal to resemble bear paws.
  10. Place on wax paper-lined tray.
  11. Let stand until chocolate is firm.
  12. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
  13. Makes about 5 dozen cookies
