How to make it

  • Place all ingredients in a large plastic bag and marinate overnight.
  • When marinated put meat into a fry pan and cook to desired doneness.
  • Serve with hot tortillas and desired garnishes.

    This is awesome! Love the smokey flavor! From now on this will be my “go to” recipe for carne asada. The one thing I did different was marinate and cook the entire steak before cutting. This way I could cook the steak with a rare center. Once cooked, I sliced thin and tossed with green peppers and onions. For more information see “I Made It II:” Smokey Pan Carne Asada
