How to make it

  • In a 3 quart saucepan, over medium heat, saute onion and green pepper in margarine until onion is transparent and pepper is tender.
  • Add mushrooms and garlic, cook 2 to 3 min.
  • Stir in tomatoes, tomato sauce, wine, and herbs.
  • Bring to boil.
  • Add chicken , reduce heat to low, cover and cook 1 1/2 hours.
  • Serve over spaghetti or rice.
