How to make it

  • Heat butter and oil in a small skillet then add green onions and saute until soft. In a medium saucepan combine onions, cranberries, rice and broth.
  • Cook covered 45 minutes.
  • To serve combine rice and pecans then garnish with green onion tops.

    This sounds like a wonderful side dish, I like your serving suggestions as well. I think I will give it a try with some grilled pork chops...the cranberries and pecans should perk things right up. Thanks for the great post-I will be doing this one tonight!
