- 2 lbs pork (lower price cuts ) shopping list
- 11/2qt. tomato juice shopping list
- 2 med. onion shopping list
- 1 large can crushed tomatoes ( italian spiced) shopping list
- 1can whole tomatoes shopping list
- double hand full fresh snowpeas or sugarsnaps shopping list
- 1tsp. italian seasoning shopping list
- salt & pepper,( sugar optional) shopping list
- 2 tbls. olive oil (light) shopping list
- 1 cup unbleached flour shopping list
- 11/2 tsp. baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
How to make it
- Add oil , onions, and seasoning to pot cook onions on med to high heat add boneless pork braise meat . add tomatoes do not drain cans.bring to simmer add juice salt pepper (sugar) to taste.cover bring to slow boil add peas or snaps cover until boil continues.uncover and add small spoonfuls of dumplings ; do not stir and cover for 15 min. do not open lid . remove from heat until served.

- Sift flour ,baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl gradually add milk until a light soft dough is formed.
