Candied Walnuts

These candied walnuts are so good, they are great sprinkled on a salad, over ice cream, or just eat them like they are. I put 15 minutes for cook time, but it all depends on how long it takes to reach 234.F on a candy thermometer.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla shopping list
- 3 cups walnuts shopping list
How to make it
- Combine sugar and sour cream in heavy saucepan. Cook to 234.F stirring constantly, add vanilla.
- Add nuts, stir until coated.
- Spead on buttered cookie sheet.
- Quickly spread apart with forks. Let cool
