Beef And Tomato Paisano Recipe

Ingredients

1lb. ground beef

1sm.-med. onion, chopped

salt, pepper, oregano-a pinch or so to taste

2-8oz. cans of tomato sauce

1 sm. can of sliced mushrooms

1 1/3 C milk

1 1/2 C instant rice

American cheese slices

Directions

brown ground beef and onion, drain.

season with salt, pepper, and oregano.

add: tomato sauce, mushrooms, milk, and rice.

bring to a boil.

simmer 5 min.

top with American cheese.

I altered it a tiny bit based on what I had and what my family likes (no mushrooms, added corn and diced tomatoes) and everyone loved it!!
