Shirred Eggs

- 8 eggs shopping list
- 8 tbls half and half shopping list
- 2 tbls butter shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees (f).
- Spray 4 ramekins (small baking dishes) with cooking spray.
- Break 2 eggs into each ramekin, being careful not to break the yolks (don't panic if you do, they'll still taste good).
- Pour 2 tbls half & half over eggs in each dish.
- Dot each dish with butter. Sprinkle with salt and pepper as desired.
- Place dishes in larger baking pan; pour warm water around dishes, about 1" deep.
- Bake 8 minutes for soft cooked eggs, 12 for hard cooked.
- Serve with toast for dipping.
