Beef And Noodles

This is great over mashed potatoes, I prefer garlic or horshadish.
Ingredients
- About a lb of beef tips or sirloin cut into strips. shopping list
- 1/2 yellow onion chopped shopping list
- 1 clove Minced garlic shopping list
- 1 Tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 Cup of water shopping list
- 1/4 cup of Au Jus shopping list
- 1/2 Cup red wine shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp fresh cracked black pepper (or to taste, I like it a little spicer) shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp onion powder shopping list
- 2 tsp thyme shopping list
- 2 Tbsp Cornstartch shopping list
- 1 Package egg noodles shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium skillet heat olive oil and garlic. Then brown meat and onions.
- In seperate sauce pan cobine the rest of the ingredents (except cornstart) and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and stir in cornstarch, continue stiring until mixture thckens.
- In a casarole dish pour liquid over meat and onion mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 90 miutes.
- Afer beaf and onions have baked for 90 minutes bring egg noodles to a boil in sauce pan, strain and stir into meat mixture and bake covered for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve over mashed potatoes.
