Chocolate Chip Fruit Cake Recipe

Ingredients

3 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 1/2 cups flour

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup dates, chopped (I usually buy them chopped already)

1 cup good quality chocolate chips

2 cups nuts - pecans, macadamias, walnuts......

1 cup candied cherries, chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 325 degrees;

Spray a large loaf pan with cooking spray;

Cream eggs and sugar;

Stir in flour, baking powder, and salt;

Fold in fruits, chips and nuts;

Bake for 1 1/2 hours.
