Pork Sampler with Sauerkraut and Apples

- 3/4 lb pork loin shopping list
- 1/4 cup sliced onions shopping list
- 1/8 cup sliced celery shopping list
- 2 pt sauerkraut shopping list
- 3/4 lb spare ribs shopping list
- 2 cup veal stock shopping list
- 3/4 lb sausage shopping list
- 1 tsp tomato paste shopping list
- 12 juniper berries shopping list
- 1/2 tsp caraway seeds shopping list
- 1 apple peeled, sliced shopping list
- 2 potatoes peeled, diced small shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
- Freshly-ground black pepper to taste shopping list
- 2 tsp brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Season the pork loin and brown in a heavy skillet.
- Remove from skillet and add onions, celery, sauerkraut, and spare ribs, and stock.
- Cover and simmer 45 minutes without sausage and pork loin.
- Add the sausage, pork and the remaining ingredients and cook for an additional 45 minutes or until the pork is completely done.
