How to make it

  • In large mixer bowl, cream sugar and Criso until light and fluffy
  • Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition
  • Combine all dry ingredients together, except for baking soda
  • Add soda to *buttahmilk*
  • Alternately add dry ingredients and *buttahmilk* to creamed mixture
  • Add 2 teaspoons almond extract, and 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • Bake in a greased and floured tube pan for 1 hour at 350 degrees, or until toothpick inserted in middle of cake comes out clean
  • May add an almond glaze, vanilla glaze, lemon glaze, etc. OR no glaze and fruit
  • DELICIOUS!

    Noooooooooooooooo... you can't do this to us. This looks too good. Thanks so much but then again I probably shouldn't be thanking you because it's going add the pounds. Okay, "pounds" - "pound cake" oh that's bad. Oh what the heck, THANK YOU!!!
