Ingredients
  • 48 - 50 or more meatballs, packaged, pre-cooked and thawed
  • *If I am looking for a more homemade flavor, I make my own meatballs and cook them in the oven on a foil lined cookie sheet for approximately 40 minutes.
  • 16 ounces cranberry jelly
  • 3/4 cup salsa sauce (your choice of heat)
  • 1 jar of your favorite tomato sauce
  • 1 large onion cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cup pineapple tidbits / chunks
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Directions
  1. In a saucepan, add cranberry jelly with salsa sauce, tomato sauce, garlic powder, brown sugar, and lemon juice.
  2. Heat on low to medium-low, stirring ingredients until they are all combined.
  3. Place thawed meatballs with cranberry, salsa sauce, onion, pineapple mixture in a slow cooker / crockpot on high for 4 hours.
  4. Reduce heat to low and cook for another 2 hours.
  5. Remove meatballs and sauce, and place into a serving / warming dish for buffet style.

I had a recipe for a meatball similar to this that I made years ago.. I had to make some serious changes to the recipe because it was so tart... this one sounds great..

Sounds good alright ~ thanks!

Wow! Reads great!
Bookmarking this one also...maybe for Thanksgiving weekend.
