How to make it

  • In a large pot, add vinegar, water, soy sauce, onion, pepper, garlic, bay leaves and chicken pieces.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer, covered for about 1 hour.
  • Using Tongs, remove Chicken from pot and set aside.
  • Boil liquid for about 10 minutes, till reduced to about 1 cup.
  • Add oil to a frying pan and heat till hot. Add Chicken pieces and brown on both sides.
  • Remove chicken and put in a serving dish.
  • Pour reduced liquid over chicken and serve with white rice.
