How to make it

  • Cook meat, onions, bell pepper and garlic in nonstick Dutch oven or large saucepan over medium-high heat until browned, stirring frequently.
  • Drain fat.
  • Stir in all remaining ingredients.
  • Cover; bring to a simmer.
  • Cook 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove bay leaf before serving.
