Ingredients

How to make it

  • cook fettuccine in boiling salted water until not yet al dente (6-7 mins)
  • at the same time in a bigger saute pan melt butter on med low heat
  • slowly sauté diced garlic in butter
  • add cream, turn heat to low
  • add seasonings
  • slowly wisk in cheese. If you add to much to quick or if it is too hot it will clump up on you.
  • once everything is incorporated add the drained pasta and toss.
  • serve and enjoy!

    Don't skimp on the calories! Two sticks of butter! WOW!
    Was afraid all the butter wouldn't incorporate, but it did.

    I honestly did not use the sugar in the Alfredo. This sauce does not need any more binders.

    If you drop the oregano, you have the original recipe and would make Alfredo di Lelio proud. This is one of those dishes that is so simple yet not usually served at parties. Probably because it does tend to "tighten" as it sits. Thanks, it's delicious.
