How to make it

  • Heat the oven to 180 C/350 F. Lightly coat a large baking tray with butter.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and milk powder in a mixing bowl.
  • Beat the ghee and sugar in a separate bowl till it is light and fluffy.
  • Add the vanilla essence.
  • Fold in the flour mixture & nuts and mix until it is smooth.
  • Divide the dough into 24 equal portions, then flatten the dough and
  • form a circular shape with your palms. Keep pressing the edges to form a smooth cookie.
  • Arrange on the baking tray,2 inches apart.
  • Bake them for 10-12 mins, or until done.
  • Remove from the oven, let them cool down to room temperature, then store them in an air-tight container.
