Mac And Fontina Cheese Recipe
This is a very easy variation to regular mac and cheese.

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup of butter
  • 1 cup of chopped onion
  • 2 tbs of flour
  • 1 tea salt
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 oz uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 4 oz (1 cup) chopped Fontina cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Directions
  1. Melt the butter in a large sauce pan
  2. add the onions and saute for about 3 min
  3. stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute while stirring (low heat)
  4. add the milk and bring to a simmer stirring frequently (low heat)
  5. add the uncooked elbows and cover
  6. let cook for about 8-9 minutes over low heat - stir occasionally
  7. remove from heat and stir in the Fontina and Parmesan cheese
  8. mix well
  9. cover and let stand for a couple of minutes-until the cheese is melted-and serve
