How to make it

  • In a bowl combine all ingredients.
  • Spread out on a jelly roll pan and toast in preheated 250 oven for 20 minutes.
  • Let cool to room temperature.
  • Pulverize spice mixture in batches with coffee grinder and strain through a sieve into a bowl.
  • The curry powder will keep six months in a tightly sealed jar in a cool dark place.
  • Use to season soups and stews.

    halfway through the 'toasting' time the whole mixture was black and my kitchen was filled with smoke. I would not recommend this
