  • 1/2 teaspoon dried leaf basil

  3. Arrange fish fillets on the prepared baking pan and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine the butter with remaining seasonings. Sprinkle the crumbs over the tilapia fillets.
  4. Bake the fish fillets for 15 to 18 minutes, or until fish is cooked through. Broil for 2 to 3 minutes to brown the topping. Fish will flake easily with a fork when done.

Wonderful recipe! My daughter loves fish and I am always on the lookout for different fish recipes. Thanks for sharing, am going to make this over the weekend.

This sounds very easy -- and looks really good! (Tilapia for hubby, chicken for me, though...) Great post, TY, JM :)

I knew why I gave this a 5. They were DELICIOUS!!!! I did add some garlic powder as we live on garlic. Great post.

I was a little confused with the instruction. Do I pour on the butter and then the bread crumbs or mix the butter and bread crumbs and then sprinkle it on?? I did the latter anyhow and it was delicous!!!! thank you

Tried this for dinner tonight, served with hot buttered noodles and brocolli and really enjoyed the baked fish...however I would use a 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs next time... way too much for this delicate fish. Very moist and tasty.

MMM this sounds really good :)
