Molasses Bran Muffins Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups bran

1/2 cup oil

1/2 cup molasses

2 eggs

2.1/2 cups yogurt

1 cup raisins

2-1/2 cups flour

3 teaspoons baking powder

Directions

Preheat oven to 400.

Prepare muffin pans.

Mix bran and oil together then add molasses, eggs and yogurt and mix well.

Add raisins, flour and baking powder until just combined.

Spoon into pans and bake 20 minutes.

It's the first time in thirty years I've been near an oven, too.

The muffins were delicious. I needed the combination of wheat bran and molasses in a convenient format to replace what I am not getting in my diet any longer now that Kraft has discontinued the instant hot drink Postum.
