How to make it

  • Rub marg into flour until crumbly.
  • Add sugar, water and essence and squeeze together like shortbread.
  • Roll into golf ball size balls and drop into paper cases in a bun tin.
  • Make holes with the handle of a wooden spoon and fill the cavity with raspberry jam (or similar).
  • Bake for 15-20mins until golden brown.
