I got this recipe from Nancy'sKitchen. It is another fav on family movie night.

Ingredients
- 2 C, quick cooking oatmeal
- 1 C, sugar
- 1 C, flour
- 1 C, coconut
- 2 Tbs. syrup
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 stick butter or margarine
Directions
- Melt margerine and add sugar.
- Stir in baking soda until frothy.
- Mix dry ingredients and add to syrup mixture until
- it is a crumbly consistancy.
- Press into a greased pan 1 inch deep.
- Bake at 325° for 20minutes.
- Cut into squares while still hot.
