How to make it

  • POUR BEER AND SUGAR INTO A HEAVY SAUCEPAN. BRING TO A BOIL OVER HIGH HEAT. IN SMALL BOWL, BEAT THE EGG YOLKS WITH A WIRE WHISK AND BEAT IN THE SOUR CREAMA LITTLE AT A TIME. STIR ABOUT 1/4 CUP OF THE HOT BEER INTO THE MIXTURE AND THEN WHISK IT INTO THE BEER. ADD CINNAMON, SALT AND A FEW GRINDING OF PEPPER, STIIRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL SOUP THICKENS SLIGHTLY. PLACED IN SOUP TUREEN OR BOWLS.
