Ingredients
  • 3 12OZ BOTTLES OF BEER
  • 1/2 CUP SUGAR
  • 4 EGG YOLKS
  • 1/3 CUP SOUR CREAM
  • 1/2 TSP SALT
  • FRESHLY GROUND PEPPER

Directions
  1. POUR BEER AND SUGAR INTO A HEAVY SAUCEPAN. BRING TO A BOIL OVER HIGH HEAT. IN SMALL BOWL, BEAT THE EGG YOLKS WITH A WIRE WHISK AND BEAT IN THE SOUR CREAMA LITTLE AT A TIME. STIR ABOUT 1/4 CUP OF THE HOT BEER INTO THE MIXTURE AND THEN WHISK IT INTO THE BEER. ADD CINNAMON, SALT AND A FEW GRINDING OF PEPPER, STIIRING CONSTANTLY, UNTIL SOUP THICKENS SLIGHTLY. PLACED IN SOUP TUREEN OR BOWLS.
