Collard Greens Recipe

Collard Greens Recipe
this is my take on classic southern greens. i do no eat pork so you ill always see a smoked turkey wing or leg in mine. if you can't find collards, mustard greens work equally as well. works really well in the crockpot i have recently discovered.

This is great. I Love Collard Greens. I can't wait to try it. I never thought of using a smoked turkey leg, thats a great idea. I always use smoked neck bone or smoked jowls or ham hocks, but the turkey would make it with less fat, I can't wait to try it, thanks!

If you do not want to do in the crock pot, that is fine as well. boil turkey leg with a couple of qrts of water. season accordingly. then add your greens and reseason. cook for about an hour or two until done.

Love greens thanks bunches high5
