Ingredients
  • 3/4 cup butter-softened
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup maraschino cherries-drained and chopped
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup coconut

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl,cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in egg,milk,and vanilla.
  4. Sift together flour,salt,and soda.
  5. Gradually add to creamed mixture.
  6. Fold in cherries,pecans,and coconut.
  7. Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  8. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on wire racks.
