Beer Baked Oysters Recipe

Ingredients

12 cleaned raw oysters opened on the half shell

1 can of your favorite beer

Texas pete to taste

Shredded colby and monterey jack cheese

pickled sliced jalapeno peppers

bacon bits

Directions

Wash oysters to remove all silt and open oysters on the half shell be sure to detach oyster from the shell

Place oyster on a broiler pan

Put a dash of beer in each oyster

Put 2 - 3 dashes of Texas Pete on each oyster

Place one jalapeno slice on each oyster

Top each oyster with grated cheese

Sprinkle each oyster with bacon bits

Broil at 400 degrees for about 3 - 5 mins. until cheese has melted

Allow to rest for 2 - 3 mins and enjoy

(A cold beer is usually a good side for this dish)
