Chicken Cacciatore

- 3 tablespoons oil shopping list
- 3 pounds chicken ; cut into pieces shopping list
- 28 ounces Italian-style diced tomatoes shopping list
- 4 ounces mushrooms ; drained shopping list
- 1 medium onion ; chopped shopping list
- 1 medium green bell pepper ; cut into 1/2-inch pieces shopping list
- salt And pepper ; to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in 12-inch skillet add chicken pieces.
- Cook over medium-high heat, turning once, until browned (10 to 12 minutes).
- Add all remaining ingredients.
- Cover; continue cooking until chicken is no longer pink (30 to 40 minutes).
- Serve with pasta.
