How to make it

  • wash and trim brussels sprouts
  • steam until fork tender
  • in separate pan cook sliced shallot in olive oil until transluscent
  • add cooked sprouts
  • add chicken broth until about 1/3 way up the sprouts
  • cook on low until most of the chicken broth is gone
  • add capers and butter until butter is melted

    I cannot WAIT to try this! I have to keep the oil/butter to a bare minimum, but the capers will kick that flavor right back up, I'm sure. Thanks.
