How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
  • Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
  • Melt the chocolates with the butter. Whisk in sugars and vanilla.
  • Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the marscapone.
  • Whisk the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until the brownie batter is smooth.
  • Separately, beat the peanut butter with the 3 tbsp mascarpone and the powdered sugar.
  • Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking pan.
  • Dollop the peanut butter mixture on top and cover with the remaining batter.
  • Bake the brownies for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs attached.
  • Chill completely before cutting.
