Mascarpone - Peanut Brownies

- 2/3 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- ½ tsp baking powder shopping list
- ¼ tsp salt shopping list
- 4 oz. semisweet chocolate shopping list
- 2 oz. unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- ½ cup unsalted butter shopping list
- ½ cup sugar shopping list
- 3 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- ½ cup mascarpone cheese shopping list
- 8 oz. smooth peanut butter shopping list
- 3 tbsp mascarpone cheese shopping list
- ¼ cup powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees
- Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- Whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- Melt the chocolates with the butter. Whisk in sugars and vanilla.
- Whisk in the eggs, one at a time, followed by the marscapone.
- Whisk the dry ingredients into the chocolate mixture until the brownie batter is smooth.
- Separately, beat the peanut butter with the 3 tbsp mascarpone and the powdered sugar.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the baking pan.
- Dollop the peanut butter mixture on top and cover with the remaining batter.
- Bake the brownies for about 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few crumbs attached.
- Chill completely before cutting.
