Barbecue Cups Recipe
To cold to barbecue! Try this the next time it's to cold to fire up the grill.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 1/2 -3/4 cup bottled barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 10- ounce can buttermilk biscuit dough ( pre-made)
  • 1/2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. Saute ground beef and onion until meat is brown.Drain in a colander. In a medium bowl, mix with barbecue sauce and brown sugar.
  3. Fill non-stick muffin pan first with a thin layer of biscuit dough and then with the barbecue mixture. Top it off with most of the cheddar cheese. Bake for 20 minutes at 400 F.
  4. After 18 minutes, top barbecue cups with remaining cheddar cheese and finish baking until the biscuits are cooked.

I have made something close to this in the past and I think that this would make a great finger food for the Superbowl this weekend! Thank you for sharing =D


GREAT POST! I do something similar to this. I wrap my pulled pork in pie crust and bake to finish the crust. Easy eating and super tasty. Your way sounds super easy to prep....thanks for the recipe.
