Slow Cook Chicken Vegetable Chowder

- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1 inch pieces shopping list
- 1 C ready to eat baby carrots, cut in hal lengthwise shopping list
- 1 Cup sliced fresh mushrooms shopping list
- 1 medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1/2 c water shopping list
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/8 tsp dried thyme leaves shopping list
- 1 (14 oz) can of chicken broth shopping list
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz) 98% fat free/30% less sodium cream of chicken soup shopping list
- 1/2 Cup milk shopping list
- 3 Tbl flour shopping list
- 1 (9 or 10 oz) pkg frozen broccoli cuts, thawed shopping list
How to make it
- In a 3 1/2 to 4 qt slow cooker, mix chicken carrots, mushrroms, onion, garlic powder, thyme and broth.
- Cover and cook on low 7 to 8 hours
- About 35 minutes before serving, skin any fat from slow cooker
- In a small bowl whisk cream of chicken soup, milk and flour until smooth
- Add soup mixture and broccoli to crock pot
- Cover and cook on low an additional 30 minutes or until broccoli is tender
