best baked potato soup

- 5 medium baking potatos baked peeled & diced shopping list
- 8 slices of bacon shopping list
- 1 onion diced shopping list
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 3 14.5 ounce cans chicken broth shopping list
- 2 cups half & half shopping list
- 1 cup sharp shredded chedder cheese shopping list
- 1 cup sour cream shopping list
- dried parsely shopping list
How to make it
- In dutch oven cook bacon till crisp, drain & crumble to use later
- cook onion in drippings till tender
- stir in flour & cook for 1 minute stirring constantly
- gradually add chicken broth, stirring constantly till thick & bubbly
- stir in diced potatos, parsely, & half & half
- cook for about 10 minutes
- stir in sour cream
- garnish with cheese and crumbled bacon
