Louisiana Swap Shrimp Boil

- 1/2 pound shrimp per person shopping list
- 2 ears white corn per person shopping list
- 1/2 pound smoked sausage per person shopping list
- 1/2 onion per person shopping list
- 1 bag crab boil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tbsp seafood seasoning per serving shopping list
- small bag of red potato's (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Bring water to a boil( about a gal.of water)
- When water is boiling stir in crab boil and seafood seasoning
- Quarter onions and add; to boil and cook 10 minutes
- Cut sausage into 1 inch pieces and add to pot; to boil and cook 5 to 20 minutes Remove from boil when done.
- Add whole ears of corn; to boil and cook 10 minutes Remove from boil when done
- You may boil some small red potato's for 20 to 25 minutes Remove from boil when done
- Add unshelled shrimp and cook until they are pink (less than 10 minutes)
- Turn off heat and REMOVE Shrimp from the boiling water when done..(look for the pink color to know that they are done)
- After it is removed ..,,Serve as soon as possible...
- This dish may be served on a plastic crawfish tray , can beer brown boxes, or just place newspaper on your patio table ..
