How to make it

  • In a large pan over médium heat, cook the chicken breasts with a piece of onion, salt and herbs (if you want). When chicken breasts are ready, cut them into medium pieces and set aside.
  • For the Basil Mayonaise: In the blender, blend Mayonaise , fresh basil leaves, garlic, onion, mustard, balsamic vinegar, ground black pepper and salt if you want.
  • Wash, dry and cut the lettuce in pieces; mix lettuce, chicken brest pieces ,celery and mix well. See Photo
  • Cut each bread and spread butter inside. See Photo
  • Set the chicken mix inside each bread, put tomatoes close breads and enjoy. See Photo

    Great sandwich!! Easy to make, and the basil and balsamic vinegar works a treat. Just what one needs for those long, hot summer days. Nice one, Berry.
