Graham Cracker Nut Brittle Recipe

Ingredients

1 box graham crackers

1 Cup chopped pecans

3/4 Cup butter

1/2 Cup margarine

1/2 Cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.

Layer a 17 X 11 inch cookie sheet with graham cracker squares. Sprinkle nuts over the graham crackers. Combine butter, margarine & sugar in a pot and cook until butter is melted and blended well. Boil 2 minutes. Pour over the crackers and nuts. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to wax paper to cool or this will stick.
