Graham Cracker Nut Brittle Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line cookie sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
  • Layer a 17 X 11 inch cookie sheet with graham cracker squares. Sprinkle nuts over the graham crackers. Combine butter, margarine & sugar in a pot and cook until butter is melted and blended well. Boil 2 minutes. Pour over the crackers and nuts. Bake in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and cool for 5 minutes. Transfer to wax paper to cool or this will stick.

    I made a similar recipe with saltines and chocolate this Xmas for the first time and had to make several batches! The kids loved the sweet and sour thing goin' on. I'm going to bookmark this one. Nice post.
