Ingredients

How to make it

  • Combine the apple juice and Sure-Jell in a large pan. Bring to a rolling boil. Add sugar and candies and cook, stirring occasionally until candies are melted and sugar is dissolved. Bring mixture to a boil and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Remove from heat and let mixture settle down a few minutes. Skim the foam off the top. Pour into sterilized jars. A funnel works really good for this.
  • Suggestions:
  • Makes 6 to 7 pints of jelly

Thank you, thank you! I've always wondered how to make this type of jelly! It was my favorite too and the junk they sell in the markets today can't even come close to homemade jelly like this! Woowoo! Thank you, Jett!!!!

I made this last summer! I kept the last jar for a couple of months, and, though it was good when I first made it, it was fantastic after chilling in the fridge that long! I thought I'd try it with a few diced apples in it next time.
