How to make it

  • Saute onion and green pepper in oil until just befor browning
  • Add vermouth and cook over high heat until reduced to 2-3 T
  • Add seasonings and heavy cream
  • Bring to a boil and cook about 3 min. or until slightly thickened
  • Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and tomato

    Love it I actually had something quite like this only with white wine, different colored peppers, that I was trying to find.. But this is great..

    The nutmeg and allspice intriques me in this one,altou,I have made tomato perserves with allspice.
