Ingredients
  • 2 T oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 large green pepper, diced
  • 1/2 cup dry vermouth
  • 1/2 t dill weed
  • 1/8 t nutmeg
  • 1/8 t allspice
  • 1 1/2 t salt
  • 1/4 t pepper
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3/4 cup tomato, peeled, seeded, and diced

Directions
  1. Saute onion and green pepper in oil until wilted
  2. Add vermouth and cook over high heat until reduced to 2-3 T
  3. Add seasonings and heavy cream
  4. Bring to a boil and cook about 3 min. or until slightly thickened
  5. Remove from heat and stir in sour cream and tomato
