  • 3 Garlic Cloves, chopped fine (or to taste)
  • 3 Small Shallots, chopped fine
  • 2 Tablespoons Breadcrumbs
  • Fresh Ground Pepper
  • Lemon Juice to taste
  • 10 Sea Scallops

Directions
  1. Finely chop the garlic and shallots
  2. Melt 2 Tablespoons butter in a pan over medium heat

  5. Ground fresh pepper over the scallops and add to the hot butter
  6. Cook on each side until they have a nice brown layer. Be careful not to overcook!

  8. Arrange the cooked scallops on two plates
  9. Top with the garlic, shallot, & bread crumb mix.
  10. Enjoy!

I also like to add a basalmic reduction drizzle to the outside of the plate. It dresses the plate up a bit and I like the combination of flavors.
