Washington Glazed Onions Recipe

These are very different but oh so good. I love to make them and serve with grilled chicken, pork chops or salmon. If you love onions, you can't go wrong with this delightful dish. Yumm

Ingredients
- 12 medium onions
- 4 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 12 teaspoons honey
Directions
- Preheat oven to 450.
- Cut onions in half crosswise then dot with butter and arrange in a shallow baking dish.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Pour 1 teaspoon honey over each onion and bake uncovered for 45 minutes.
