Ingredients
  • Pastry Dough (Your Favorite Recipe) for a Double Crust 9 Inch Pie.
  • 10 to 12 Medium Size Tart Cooking Apples
  • 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Cup Sifted Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Butter

Directions
  1. For 10 to 12 Servings Prepare your Favorite Recipe for a Double Crust 9 Inch Pie. Line the Bottom & Sides of a 13x9x2 pan with the
  2. Pastry.
  3. Peel & Core 10 to 12 Medium size Tart Cooking Apples.
  4. Cut into 1/4 Inch Slices and Spread Evenly over Pastry.
  5. Combine 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar, & Granulated Sugar, 1 Cup
  6. Sifted Flour, 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon, & 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  7. Work in 1/2 Cup Butter until Mixture is Crumbly.
  8. Sprinkle Mixture over Apples. Bake 25 Minutes @ 425 degrees,
  9. Reduce Heat to 350 degrees; Bake 20 Minutes Longer, or until
  10. Apples are Tender. Serve with Ice Cream
