How to make it

  • For 10 to 12 Servings Prepare your Favorite Recipe for a Double Crust 9 Inch Pie. Line the Bottom & Sides of a 13x9x2 pan with the
  • Pastry.
  • Peel & Core 10 to 12 Medium size Tart Cooking Apples.
  • Cut into 1/4 Inch Slices and Spread Evenly over Pastry.
  • Combine 1/2 cup of Brown Sugar, & Granulated Sugar, 1 Cup
  • Sifted Flour, 2 teaspoons of Cinnamon, & 1/2 teaspoon of Salt
  • Work in 1/2 Cup Butter until Mixture is Crumbly.
  • Sprinkle Mixture over Apples. Bake 25 Minutes @ 425 degrees,
  • Reduce Heat to 350 degrees; Bake 20 Minutes Longer, or until
  • Apples are Tender. Serve with Ice Cream

    Do you put a top on this pie or is the flour mixture a top itself .. cause it seems like it sence flour isn't in all pies .. and there is alot of flour .. plz help I'm making this right now as I'm typing
