Ingredients
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 3.4oz box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 cup chocolate syrup-divided
  • 1 12oz carton whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions
  1. Prepare and bake cake according to package instructions using a greased 9" x 13" pan. Cool on wire rack.
  2. Meanwhile,prepare pudding according to package instructions. Pour into a 9" x 13" baking dish.
  3. Tear cake into small pieces and gently push down into the pudding.
  4. Drizzle with 3/4 cup of chocolate syrup.
  5. Top with whipped topping.
  6. Drizzle with remaining chocolate syrup.
  7. Sprinkle with pecans.
  8. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
