Baked Macaroni And Cheese

- 1 16oz box elbow macaroni shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons flour shopping list
- 1 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon prepared mustard shopping list
- 2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 tablespoons parmesean cheese shopping list
- 3 cups shredded extra sharp cheddar-divided shopping list
- 1 8oz block Velveeta cheese spread-shredded or cubed shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook macaroni according to package instructions. Drain.
- In a large saucepan over medium heat,Melt butter then add flour,salt,pepper,and mustard. Stir until smooth.
- Add milk. Slowly bring to a boil stirring constantly until mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat. Stir in parmesean cheese,cheddar cheese and velveeta. Stir until well combined and cheeses are melted.
- Add macaroni and stir until well coated.
- Pour mixture into a lightly greased 9" x 13" baking dish.
- Top with remaining cheddar cheese.
- Bake 30 minutes until or until bubbly and golden brown.
- Serve hot.
- Suggestion:
- Mix 1/2 cup chopped bacon with 1 cup cheddar for topping.
