- 1 tbls. vegtable oil shopping list
- 1 lb aonduie sausage shopping list
- 1 med. onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 med.bell pepper, chopped shopping list
- 1 bag dried red beans (16oz.) shopping list
- 2 cans rotel ( hot or mild) shopping list
- 6cups (hot) white rice shopping list
- 1Tabls. frank's hot sauce shopping list
- chopped green onions shopping list
- 1 cube ham bullion shopping list
- 1tsp. black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- soak red beans ; cook in water and ham boullion ( black pepper )until tender and drain leave some liquid approx. 2 cups. In stove top dutch oven heat oil med -high heat , saut'e sausage,onions, and bell pepper 5 min. or until tender
- add beans and rotel ( do not drain ) bring to a boil ; cover reduce heat let simmer for 20 min.( give or take 10 min.). serve over bowl warm rice sprinkle with green onions. Have Frank's hot sauce handy or pickled cayenne peppers.
