Maple Walnut Napoleons

- 4 sheets phyllo dough, thawed shopping list
- 4 tsp. butter, melted shopping list
- 1/2 cup maple syrup, divided shopping list
- 2/3 cups walnuts, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipped topping shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425
- Brush one layer of dough with butter
- Top with another sheet of dough and brush with butter
- Another layer dough, then butter
- Then top with last dough
- Drizzle top layer with 1/4 cup maple syrup
- Sprinkle with nuts
- Using a pizza cutter, cut phyllo lengthwise into 4 strips
- Cut each strip into six, making 24 rectangles
- Transfer onto baking sheet
- Bake for 4-5 minutes or until golden
- Prepare pudding with milk according to box directions
- Fold in whipped topping
- On 8 dessert plates, place one phyllo rectangle
- Spread about 1 tbls. of pudding mixture onto phyllo
- Repeat
- Top with last phyllo rectangle
- Drizzle with maple syrup
