Onion Casserole Recipe

I was served this for a top a chop steak and it was very good. My friend also says she serves it with crosstini. Wait til you see how easy it is to make.

Ingredients
- 3 to 5 slice onion -- Vidalia or spanish
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup Ritz crackers, crumbled
Directions
- Slice onions. Place onions in a microwave dish.
- Cut up margarine and place on top of onions, cover with a lid and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes.
- Stir onions and microwave 5 to 7 minutes longer.
- Mix cheese, salt, pepper and cracker crumbs.
- Sprinkle over onions.
- Bake at 350 degrees until crumbs are browned 20 to 30 minutes.
