Ingredients
  • 6 thick(1") pork chops
  • 2 medium acorn squash
  • 3/4 tsp. salt
  • 2 TBS. butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 tsp. kitchen bouquet
  • 1 TBS. orange juice
  • 1/2 tsp. orange peel,greted

Directions
  1. cut each squash into 4-5 crossways slices:remove seeds.
  2. place 3 chops on boyyom of crock-pot.
  3. place all squash slices on top of chops
  4. then layer the lat 3 chops on top
  5. combine salt,butter,sugar,bouquet sauce,orange juice and peel
  6. spoon over chops
  7. cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours
  8. serve 2-3 slices of squash with each chop
